Overview:
A prime example of film noir. Stanwyck is a hard-as-nails housewife who lures insurance salesman MacMurray into a deadly plot to kill her husband. Both have to watch out for Robinson's determined insurance claims investigator. Stanwyck's sexy seductress keeps smoldering even as a pall of guilt starts to envelop the characters.
